SUMMARY:Webinar: Patent Espionage for Getting a Headstart in the Market.
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nPresenter: Dr Nicola Maxwell\nOrganisation: IP Solved Pty Ltd \nEveryone is talking about big data\, and so are we\, only our data of choice is patent data.\nThe patent dataset can create a patent landscape that looks for innovation hot spots or so called “white space” – a space in which technology has yet to commercially populate.\nThe patent landscape can also identify (and spy on) competitors\, and/or find collaboration partners holding valuable IP rights that might complement your own developing portfolio. \nIn this webinar\, Part 1 in a two-webinar series on The Power of the Patent\, Dr Nicola Maxwell from IP Solved will explain how patent analytics can support your business decisions\, licensing\, identifying markets\, and market pathways. \nAbout the Presenter \nNicola is a registered Trans-Tasman patent attorney with over 13 years of experience in intellectual property. In addition to her extensive experience in patent law\, Nicola spent two years as a patent analyst in the Thomson Reuters\, Global Patent Analytics team. While working with Thomson Reuters she developed the metrics to identify Australia’s Top 100 Innovators and delivered the findings together with awards at the National Press Club in Canberra. She is now based in Brisbane where she manages the Queensland office of the international firm\, IP Solved. Her work in patent advisory is complemented by her analytics work for Solved Thinking. \nFollow this link for info about Part 2 in the Power of the Patent series. \nMissed a webinar?
